This policy explains what information Aegus, LLC ("Aegus") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to what's needed to run the service.

1. Information we collect

Account information — your email address and authentication details when you register.
Subscription and billing information — handled by our third-party payment provider (the merchant of record). We receive your subscription status and a payment reference; we do not collect or store your full card number.
Usage data — basic technical information such as log-in events and interactions with the platform, used to operate and improve the service.
Watchlists and inputs — tickers or preferences you enter are stored to provide the feature you're using.

2. How we use information

to create and secure your account and provide access to the platform;
to process subscriptions and confirm payment status;
to send service and account emails (for example, sign-up confirmation and billing notices);
to operate, maintain, and improve the service and prevent abuse.

3. Service providers we share with

We share the minimum necessary data with providers that help us run Aegus:

Authentication & database — to manage accounts and store your data securely.
Payment provider (merchant of record) — to process subscriptions and handle billing, tax, and refunds.
Email delivery — to send account and service emails from our domain.
Hosting — to run the application.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and sessions

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to operate the platform. These are required for the service to function; we do not use them for third-party advertising.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and related data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account (see below).

6. Your choices and rights

You may access or update your account information, cancel your subscription at any time, and request that we delete your account and associated personal data. 7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Aegus is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised "last updated" date.
